Fire Hydrant

Community Fire Planning
Several communities in the Uintah Basin have been identified as high risk for wildfire losses. RC&D has provided training to assist communities in developing plans so they can qualify for funding to take fire preventative measures.

Con Amore Fishers

Con Amore Fishing Day
This popular event “buddies” a Con Amore student with a local leader for a fun filled day of fishing. Con Amore is the local school for students with disabilities. RC&D organizes the event.

Corn Maze
As an alternative agricultural project, a farmer in Bluebell, Utah has developed a Corn Maze. Dinosaurland RC&D helps market the Corn Maze to school groups as a PAWS-On activity and assists with transportation costs to get students to the site.


PAWS stands for Plants, Animals, Water and Soil and is our hands-on conservation education effort.
